The Step-by-Step Youth Application Process
Step 1 – Complete Online Application
*Note: All applicants will have to create a MyOneFlow account in order to submit their application this year as we have switched application platforms. Your old account will not work. Please go here to create your new application account.
Step 2 – Submit Required Documentation through your new MyOneFlow account
After completing the online application youth will need to submit additional documentation. Please note, do not fax or mail in any additional documentation.
Step 3 – Parent Orientation
Follow this link for our Parent Orientation Tutorial . (This is an optional step.)
Step 4 – Attend Virtual Provider Fair & Complete a Job Selection Form (Summer Programs Only)
Provider Fair
Eligible youth will receive an electronic invitation to attend this event. Electronic invitations will be sent to the email address used to complete the online application. This event will showcase the programs available for youth to participate in during the summer program.
Job Selection Form
Eligible youth will have this form mailed to them at the address noted on their applications.
Step 5 – ROC Youth Employment Network Staff will Contact Eligible Youth Regarding Next Steps
Status update letters will be sent to all applicants who successfully complete the online application. Letters will be mailed as they are ready for the after school youth employment program since it is administered on a rolling basis. Letters will be mailed by early May for the summer programs.
Please note, job positions through this program are limited, and not every applicant that applies or is eligible will be hired. Youth selected will be contacted directly by RochesterWorks, the City of Rochester, or a program operator for a personal interview. Interviews will not be conducted at the time of application submission.
