Here you can find and apply for both summer and after-school employment opportunities for youth ages 14-20 years-old in Monroe County and the City of Rochester, NY. On our pages, you’ll find helpful information about the programs and application process. Whether you are a youth interested in participating in the programs, a parent or guardian of an interested youth, or an employer looking to find out how to hire program participants, we’ve got you covered. Applications for 2026 summer employment opportunities in Monroe County and the City of Rochester for youth (ages 14-20) are now CLOSED. Applications are now being reviewed and applicants will be notified of their status as it becomes available.

Applications for 2026-2027 after-school employment opportunities in Monroe County and the City of Rochester for youth (ages 14-20) through the RochesterWorks ROC Your Job (RYJ) Program will be accepted beginning October 2026. More information about the RYJ Program is available here.
